I get so angry every time people like that are allowed near kids - at that age we are all so vulnerable, and such behavior from an authority figure can do so much damage! I am glad you've worked through your feelings, though! :)

I also have bad memories of PE, although not as hurtful as yours. I do believe that PE and bad PE teachers is the reason that a lot of people feel like they'll never be in good shape...Undercover Dietinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02794551823105433176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-587408959976072541.post-49358373460144376462011-08-08T08:25:15.251-05:002011-08-08T08:25:15.251-05:00WOW! I sure hope that "coaches" today are much more careful about those who aren't "athletes" (I never was/will be either).
((( hugs )))
DawnAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-587408959976072541.post-40890293785158821882011-08-08T07:37:51.498-05:002011-08-08T07:37:51.498-05:00I am so sorry that your young self went through th...I am so sorry that your young self went through this! I remember one time in high school our teacher had us running around the track and it was hot and I was out of breath. He kept yelling at me to move faster. So I did. I ended up getting a little light headed and ran off the track. Well, I ended up twisting an ankle as my foot went from black top to grass (there was a bit of a step down). I still remember, to this day, him expecting me to still do gym the very next day even though I could hardly walk on the thing. He was a crotchety old man. :/

I'm over it, though. It angered me at the time but it's been so long ago there's really no reason for my to dwell on it anymore.

I'm glad you were able to let it all go too. It feels so much better not to hold a grudge! Now if only I could do that with other grudges. Haha.Hollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06956721559913918245noreply@blogger.com
